ServerGuard24 provides server and website monitoring.

How ServerGuard24 users benefit from PagerTree

ServerGuard24 triggers notifications when a problem is detected. PagerTree acts as the dispatcher for these notifications, determining the right people to notify based on on-call schedules. PagerTree notifies them via email, sms, voice, and/or push notifications until the alert is acknowledged or closed.

Functionality of Integration

The ServerGuard24 is one-way, meaning:

• When monitor is down (check_result == "CRITICAL") in ServerGuard24, an alert is created in PagerTree automatically.
• When a monitor is up (check_result == "OK") in ServerGuard24, the alert is resolved in PagerTree automatically.

Tutorial Overview

In this integration tutorial we will show you how to send notifications from ServerGuard24 into PagerTree. The estimated time for this integration is 2 minutes. We assume that you already have a PagerTree and ServerGuard24 account setup. It is also assumed you have created at least 1 ServerGuard24 monitor.

In PagerTree

1. From the action button, click the “Create Integration” button.
2. In the “Create Integration” box, fill out the following:
   1. Name of the Integration.
   2. Select the Type to ServerGuard24
   3. Select an appropriate Urgency for when this integration is triggered
   4. Select the Team this alert will be assigned to
3. Click Save
4. Copy the Endpoint URL

In ServerGuard24

1. Menu -> Contacts -> Create New Contact
2. On the New Contact Page:
   1. Name - PagerTree
   2. HTTP Push URL - Paste the PagerTree Endpoint URL you copied for URL.
   3. Click Save.
3. Select a check from the Server Tab.
4. Edit the Contacts section:
   1. Select PagerTree as a contact, and click Save.
   2. Click Save.
5. Edit the Notification Settings:
   1. Click Edit on the Notification & Intervals sections
   2. De-select Email, SMS, Push.
   3. HTTP Push - select Critical and OK.
   4. Click Save.

You have successfully completed the ServerGuard24 Integration. Now when a check in ServerGuard24 is down, PagerTree will create an alert and route it to the correct team member that is on-call. If you have any questions please contact support@pagertree.com
